Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled Occupational Therapist is needed to support students in a school setting, located in Niagara Falls, NY. This position involves providing therapeutic services to help students improve their functional abilities and succeed academically and socially.
Responsibilities:
- Assess students needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement therapeutic activities and interventions to enhance motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Document treatment plans, progress notes, and communicate routinely with the school team
- Travel locally between schools as required to provide services
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create engaging, developmentally appropriate interventions
- Flexibility and willingness to travel within the assigned area
Location:Niagara Falls, New York services will be delivered in various schools with some local travel expected.
